Our talented debate team participated in the 1st round of the Urban Debate League. Students debated controversial issues, remained confident and displayed outstanding debating skills. Student Homework Timetable

Student Homework Timetable

All students should record homework in their planners. Staff will also upload a record of homework tasks onto Bromcom VLE

The homework timetable is intended to support students to organise their time and ensure they complete all tasks set. The day specified for each subject is the day the student should complete the homeowkr task and not necessarily the day it is set by the teacher.

Year 7-8 students should spend at least 30 minutes completing homework per subject per week, with Core Subjects (English, Maths and Science) having two homeworks a week

Years 9 – 11 students should spend approximately 1 hour per week per subject (minimum). Again the Core subjects will have two homeworks

KS5: A level: A minimum of 6 hour’s homework for each subject per week

Homework Club

Homework clubs runs every day after Academy for both KS3 and KS4 students in Room Group 2 where our student support team are available to assist students in the completion of their homework tasks across the curriculum.
