A new co-educational Academy in Beckenham
Harris Academy Beckenham is a new co-educational secondary school for families in Beckenham and the surrounding areas.
Opening this September, we will build on the track record of our sister Academies within the Harris Federation – 5 of which have so far achieved ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted status within three years of opening.
Along with Harris Academy Bromley, we plan to bring the quality of schooling in this part of the borough up to the high standards which parents in some other parts of the area have long been used to for their sons and daughters.
In doing so, we will build on the strengths of Kelsey Park and give staff and students the support and structures needed to accelerate their improvements and achievements.
Parents have told us that they would like the Academy to combine the traditional values of good manners, strong discipline and smart uniform with the best of modern teaching methods and technology.
Harris Academy Beckenham will also provide a range of extra curricular activities that parallels those of the best private schools in the country.
