Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Expedition
Sixty-three Year 9 pupils successfully completed their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Expedition around Edenbridge and the surrounding countryside.

Over two days, pupils navigated their own routes, cooked meals using Trangias and camped overnight, developing valuable independence, teamwork and outdoor skills. Despite carrying heavy backpacks across a challenging six-hour walking route, every pupil completed the expedition successfully.

The experience was a fantastic opportunity for pupils to build confidence, resilience and determination while enjoying the beautiful Kent countryside. One Year 9 pupil said: “The D of E course has really helped me with my confidence and it has allowed me to develop new interests both at school and at home.”
