Police Assembly
This morning Years 8 and 9 had an assembly from our Safer Schools Officers Pc Garratt and PC Vukadin, on how to stay safe and police priorities within the area. This forms part of our Personal Development Curriculum. Please see below from PC Garratt:
HABE have a great working relationship with school’s officers PC GARRATT and PC VUKADIN, who attended school on Wednesday 14th October to deliver a year group workshop to both Years 8 and 9. This will form part of the officer’s remit of education for children and young people.
The workshops included the following topics and conclude with an open Q&A session.
- The age of criminal responsibility
- Travelling safely
- Personal safety
- Local concerns
- Police priorities
All students were thoroughly engaged and were able to answer and ask questions.
