CLIMBING THE SPORTING SUCCESS LADDER

 

The U14 girls football team attended the Harris Federation Football Tournament this afternoon and finished  a fabulous 3rd. The girls won their opening match against the host Harris Academy Merton giving the team great confidence for the remainder of the tournament.  Other wins included their match against Harris Academy Purley in a 1-0 end to end game in which they all displayed great team work and perseverance. Congratulations to Harris Academy Falconwood for winning the tournament overall..

 

Well done to the following girls; Sky-Ann Buttery (capt), Marlena Ballia, Georgia Lawrence, Sabina Coverig, Poppy Watts, Aaliyah O'Connell, Millie Smith and Lily Walker (coaches player of the tournament).

 

We are very proud to report that our girls sports teams at the Academy are achieving success upon success and I am very honoured to be alongside them.
