Another great day in NYC for HABE Performing Arts students. Today we have done a stage combat workshop with broadway actors 🎭, seen the Statue of Liberty 🗽on the Staten Island Ferry ⛴️ and done a spot of souvenir shopping! Last day tomorrow!

STUDENTS RAISE THE BAR AND UNDERTAKE AN IMMENSE 24 HOUR CHALLENG ...

Malta Sports Tour 24 Hour Triathlon Fundraiser

Forty five of HABE’s finest athletes will undertake the mammoth challenge of covering the distance from Harris Academy Beckenham to Malta in a 24hr triathlon which commences at 4pm on Thursday 8th November- 4pm on Friday 9th November.

 

The students will work together in rotation throughout the 24 hour period on rowing machines, treadmills and bikes to cover the 1300 miles. As well as this, our 'staff 5 minute rowing competition' launches on Friday 9th November - staff will try and top the leaderboard rowing as far as they can in 5 minutes, adding vital miles towards the students' total. 

 

Students have been raising money to fund tour kit and equipment in a number of ways including cake sales and car washes to name but a few and have raised a considerable amount of money so far.
