Times of the Academy Day

The Academy has four lessons of 80 minutes in length as our broad unit of teaching. There are three extended lessons of 120 minutes each week (Tuesday-Thursday) for Years 9-11 to ensure current teaching contact time is maintained.

Timings of the academy day (Monday-Thursday)

Students are expected on site at 8.25am with tutor time starting at 8.30am. Year 7 and 8 students will now finish at 3.10pm Monday to Thursday with Year 9-11 students continuing to finish at 3.50pm on Tuesday to Thursday.

Earlier finish on Friday

The Academy day will now finish at 2.00pm on Fridays for Years 7 – 10 and 3pm for Year 11 students. This will allow for dynamic, bespoke and focussed intervention for Year 11 throughout their GCSE year.
