Well Done Willow - BMX Championship Success

We are very proud to announce that Willow Kirkman was very successful in the 2015 BMX racing season.

Her season was split into two separate leagues; the London series, where she raced at different tracks including Peckham, Hayes, Greenwich (her home track) and the velopark (home to the 2012 Olympic BMX track) and the south region series, racing on tracks as far as Knightwood, Andover and Bournemouth!

In the south series Willow finished 4th in the region competing against some very talented riders, culminating in a 6th place at Bournemouth in the South Region Championship, the final race of the series.

In the London series she finished in the number one spot and following the Championship at the Olympic park, she finished again 6th place overall.

Willow was also invited to the inter-regional competition for a weekends training and racing at the British BMX headquarters in Manchester and qualified to ride for her country in the BMX world championships in Belgium.  Although Willow did not win it was certainly an honour to represent GB and has inspired her to continue competing next year. Well Done Willow!
