Going for Golfing Gold!

On Wednesday 11th May, six HABE students participated in the South London Beginner golf tournament at Addington Court Golf Club.

In the company of established golfing schools such as Langley Park, the team consisted of Ben O’Hare, Wolfie Russell, Ben Partridge, Bryan Beugre, Ayaz Ghani and Cameron Mills who  all gave exceptional performances. There were many outstanding shots throughout the round, but the most memorable included Bryan’s 50 yard approach shot to the green finishing 8 feet from the hole followed by Wolfie Russell’s 20 yard putt securing the hole! Much to the excitement of his fellow team members, not to mention Mr Boylan and Mr Thornton.

Going for Golfing Gold 1

The sun shone brightly, the players were fantastic and a real credit the Academy, emerging as victorious winners! The triumph has now secured HABE’s place in the London Schools Golf Competition on June 9th. Good luck gentlemen!
