In the Big Top 4 - Bromley Athletics

Top 4 in Bromley for Athletics

On Wednesday 25th June our year 7 and 8 Boys Athletics team took part in the Bromley Minors meet at Norman Park. Having come 5th overall last year the pressure was on to improve on this performance, with some tough competition from the likes of Langley Park and Ravenswood. We secured a place in every track event final dominating the competition across the board coming 1st in both 100m races, 1st in the year 7 200m race and 1st in the year 7 300m, to name just a few. We were also extremely successful in the field with both Zaid Thomas and Tyriq Cole keeping their title in the throwing events and each achieving a personal best.

After the tension of waiting for the scores to be totaled we finished in 4th place overall being the 2nd best co-ed school in the Borough. Our best result to date! Now onto the Federation games where we hope to achieve further success. Well done to all who competed!
