Another great day in NYC for HABE Performing Arts students. Today we have done a stage combat workshop with broadway actors 🎭, seen the Statue of Liberty 🗽on the Staten Island Ferry ⛴️ and done a spot of souvenir shopping! Last day tomorrow!

Bromley Rotary Youth Awards 2019

Bromley Rotary Youth Awards 2019

Three of our students were nominated by their teachers to attend the prestigious Bromley Rotary Youth Awards ceremony for their contribution and services to the community.

 

The three award winners were:

  • Danny Stevenson (Year 9)
  • Ben Patridge (Year 12)
  • Aaron Regisford (Year 13)

All three of these students have been great ambassadors for Harris Academy Beckenham having committed time to help others, including, working with disabled children, helping to reduce gang crime, working at homeless shelters and raising money through organised charity events.

 

These students amongst others at HABE continue to be selfless citizens of Bromley helping to make the lives of others more positive. In the year of 2019 we look to offer our students more opportunities to work amongst the community and become great role models for the generations to come!
