Harris Academy Beckenham Donates 300 Pairs of Googles to NHS
Harris Academy Beckenham has donated 300 pairs of safety googles (normally used by our Science department) to the NHS to help prevent their staff contracting COVID-19.
Bromley NHS Trust put out a call recently to local schools who might have spare googles they didn't need, that could be used in care homes, by social workers and in GP surgeries.
"Our NHS staff are doing an incredible job, and we are proud to do any small thing we can do to help keep them safe," said Rebecca Hickey, Executive Principal.
HABE remains open to children whose parents are key workers, including NHS staff critical to the country's response to COVID-19.
