Welcome to HABE Sixth Form! We can't wait to welcome you in September. To help set you on the right foot forward, we require students to complete their Bridging Work over the summer holidays.
Bridging Work is designed to support students with the transition from Year 11 into Sixth Form, which marks a significant step up in independence and academic rigour. Our carefully planned tasks aim to ease this transition by introducing new topics, concepts and ideas that will be taught in your first few weeks and by reinforcing foundational concepts learnt at Key Stage 4.
What is Bridging Work?
Bridging work includes a range of tasks, readings and activities designed to help you transition smoothly into Sixth Form. It focuses on key subjects and offers an early introduction to the curriculum, ensuring you're well-prepared for the academic challenges ahead.
You can access the bridging work for each subject using the links below. Please ensure all work is completed and brought with you on the first day of Sixth Form. If you have any questions or need support, feel free to contact your future subject teachers via email.
