Group A update: one coach will be arriving back to school at approximately 3:30pm. The other coach is still on its way to the site and we will not be leaving until 3pm approx. This means half the group will be back an hour later than planned. Please look out for a text

Federation Success for the Y8 Netball team!

On the 2nd March, Harris Beckenham’s Y8 netball team arrived at Crystal Palace Sports Ground for the Federation tournament with hesitation and cold feet. After the first win, we started to celebrate, but Miss Halliday reminded us of the competition still ahead of us. The second win came, but we kept our focus on our competitors. The third win came, then a draw, then a loss…we thought it was over but we didn't let our heads drop. The sixth, seventh and eighth win came with delight but as the results were counted, our fingers were still crossed and trembling. Falconwood were announced third, Crystal Palace second and Harris Beckenham first! The girls and I leapt to our feet and collected our medals. We have never been so proud. All the weeks’ worth of practise had finally paid off. Well done Harris Beckenham!!!!
